We bring solar systems and energy efficient cooking stoves to the rural communities of Uganda. Our activities reduce harmful carbon emissions and reduce on the need to gather fuel such as firewood. In so doing, we seek to address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal -7: Access to clean and Affordable Energy in order to achieve universal energy access, Goal 5: Gender Equality: Achieving Gender Equality and empower all women and girls specifically.
We train women and female youth about the benefits of clean energy through community solar classes.
Recruit female solar champions / agents for the clean energy products.
Provide subsidized startup packs as a way of supporting them to start and build a resilient business journey.
